FAQS

Everything You Want To Know

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK YOUR SERVICES?

Couples normally reach out to me after they have their venue and date booked, usually right after they book their photographer. Given the state of 2020 and what the world has been like, booking my services over a year out has been normal due to rescheduled weddings.

CAN I HELP PICK THE MUSIC FOR THE VIDEO?

I use the website Music Bed to copyright the music I use. While I am always open to having you choose the music, it is a very large part of my editing process and style, so I usually prefer you tell me what kind of genres you like, or what your favorite songs are, so I can work with that information given and choose the best song or songs for your film.

MY WEDDING TAKES PLACE A BIT OUTSIDE OF MINNEAPOLIS OR NEW ORLEANS. WHAT IS YOUR TRAVEL FEE?

If your wedding is more than thirty minutes outside of Minneapolis or New Orleans proper, there is a travel fee of $40 per traveling hour.

MY EVENT TAKES PLACE IN A DIFFERENT STATE. DO I NEED TO BOOK A HOTEL ROOM FOR YOU?

If your wedding is more than two hours outside of Minneapolis or New Orleans, I will ask for accommodation for either the night of the wedding, or the night before and night-of, depending how far away your venue is located and how early or late I will be filming. I tend to book this myself, then add the amount to your final balance.

PERFECT! I’D LOVE TO BOOK YOU! WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS?

After discussing the kind of coverage and film you'd like to move forward with, I will put together a contract for you to review. Once you've read over that and all looks well, you can reserve your date by putting 50% of the total balance down at the signing of the agreement, with the balance due one month prior to your wedding date. You can pay me via Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. I charge a fee for the amount PayPal charges, but using Venmo or Zelle won’t incur any additional charges.
